Practice is fun, but it's more exciting to play. You can drill and practice until you turn blue, but it's not going to be the same as laying it on the line when there's something there that matters.

Every year, Tennessee always gets the most out of their players and they did tonight. We knew we had to be ready to fight because Tennessee never lays down and stops playing regardless of the score. I'm happy where we are because we're getting better every day. We've been talking about playing with more passion and more fight and that paid off for us in tonight's match.

We need to be ready to battle. We beat a good South Carolina team in under 2 hours. We can't expect to do that (today). We've got to be ready mentally to play longer if that's what it takes.
